On February 26, 2015, at 6:14 pm, BuzzFeed shared a Tumblr post that posed a simple question: What colors are this dress? White & gold or black & blue?

More than 25 million people viewed the article in the 15 hours since it was published to BuzzFeed, with millions more questioning the dress across countless other media websites and social networks.

More than 2.25 million people have voted in BuzzFeed’s poll, greater than the total number of votes cast in Arizona in the 2012 United States presidential election. It even set a record for the most users on Buzzfeed at the same time (670,000).

Brands Join #TheDress Debate on Social Media
