FDVA - Case Study

The Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs engaged Sachs Media to help it better fulfill the agency’s mission to reach and serve the state’s veterans, and to overcome brand confusion with the federal VA.

We rebranded the FDVA to give it a distinct identity and launched new outreach strategies to better connect with underserved veterans. We created an award-winning array of print and digital tools to inform, educate, and reach our target audience; designed and developed a new website; created a smartphone app; and developed and implemented a successful social media strategy.

Our efforts increased FDVA services to never-before-reached veterans by 74% and led to a 95% increase in services to all veterans, a 550% increase in Facebook fans, and a $2 billion increase in the amount of benefits drawn down by Florida veterans. Honoring Those Who Served U.S. was honored as the top public relations campaign of the year by the Florida Public Relations Association.
